ABOUT US

Chris Hastings has 14 years professional experience as a free-lance studio engineer. He received a BA in Sound Recording and Music Performance from University of Lowell, MA in 1990. Following college, Chris honed his skills as a free-lance engineer and producer at a variety of recording studios in New York City, including Prince Studios, Desta Entertainment, and Stardust Studios in New Jersey.  Moving to Los Angeles in 1995, Chris continued free-lancing at Paramount Studios, Cherokee Studios, Ameraycan Studios, and Greenman Studios in Hollywood... and occassional work at Bernie Beckers in the San Fernando Valley. Chris has extensive experience engineering and producing a wide variety of musical genres - particularly Rock n' Roll, R&B, Hip-Hop, and Rap - and also enjoys writing, producing, and recording his own music. Nancy Hastings worked professionally in the music business for more than 13 years. She has held a variety of jobs at major record labels in New York City and Los Angeles including EMI, Chaos Recordings (Columbia), The WORK Group (Epic), Warner Bros. Records, and Sony Music Soundtrax.  Nancy served as Manager of Label Relations for a music website being developed by Sony Music from 1999-2001. Outside of the music business, Nancy learned web development skills through her 10 years of volunteer work and currently full-time work that she does for the Surfrider Foundation.
